Well, we have untied the link to the house and loaded the car and are off ! Sort of. Yesterday saw us drive down to Debdale, arriving around 2pm. After unloading and packing away we had a short sojourn reading and catching our breath.
At 5 ish we decided to make use of the car to scout out the mooring situation around Foxton. We parked above the locks intending to walk down. However, spotting N.B. Lady Esther saw us having a long chat and coffee with Ange and Dave. We then all decided to decamp to the village pub in Gumley and shared a lovely evening. Food at the Bell was Ok but no more than that although the place itself was friendly. Good night had.
