Taking it easy?

We left Foxton this morning after a quick chat with Dave from NB Lady Esther, we were heading for Welford Junction and Dave and Angie were heading for Crick because they need to be back at their marina by Sunday as Dave is back at work next week.  The sun was shining and it was fairly warm in the sun, we hardly passed any boats, had a smooth run through Husbands Bosworth Tunnel and onto Welford.  We arrived just before lunch by which time we had decided to continue further and probably onto Crick, which we have done, we stopped at Yelvertoft for water and despite the very threatening skies this afternoon we only got caught whilst we were filling up at Yelvertoft.   Dave & Angie arrived about 30 minutes after us.

So 3-4 hours cruising a day turned into 6 today but we will take it easy over the next few days.

Lovely morning at Foxton
