A short hop, family visits and a car shuffle

We awoke to a lovely day but very cold, frosty fields was our view.  Helen, Mark, Isabella & Harry came to visit us this morning after tea and cake, we went for a walk up the locks, gongoozling other boats.  Harry was fascinated by the water in and out of the lock, a boater in the making at 20 months?  It was lovely to see you all thanks for coming over.  After lunch we picked up Roger from NB Windsong, said goodbye to Pip and travelled the short hop to Debdale Wharf ready for being lifted out in the morning for our blacking.

Roger & John then went on a car shuffle, Roger giving John a lift to Yelvertoft to get our car, then both cars onto Gayton where Roger left their car, then back to Foxton to drop Roger off and John back to Debdale, saved us a fortune in taxi fares and got our car back to us and Pip & Rogers car to their temporary mooring at Gayton Marina for when they arrive.

We have ended the day with a really good evening with Jane & Paul at the Foxton Locks Pub.
