It being for a change, a beautiful morning, the prospect of sanding down woodwork at the house palled somewhat. So an amble from Foxton to Debdale had a certain appeal. It is still quite novel having such an iconic location now on our doorstep.

Foxton Locks work underway
The work has started on the locks at Foxton. New lock gates being lifted by a very nifty remote controlled crane today from a work barge in the lock.
It being for a change, a beautiful morning, the prospect of sanding down woodwork at the house palled somewhat. So an amble from Foxton to Debdale had a certain appeal. It is still quite novel having such an iconic location now on our doorstep.
