We just love this canal and this is why!

We have enjoyed our stay in Llangollen we managed to get to the finals of the Eisteddfod on Saturday night which was brilliant, seeing all the finalists and Gareth Malones World Choir.  We have walked to Horseshoe falls stopping at the newly refurbished chain bridge and calling in the hotel for Sunday lunch.  Sadly today we have to leave as there is a 48 hour maximum stay, but at £6 per night including electricity you can't complain, and we are making good use of it before we leave.

37 miles 12 locks, 6 lift bridges, 3 tunnels, 2 aqueducts
